Warehouse Manager

We are excited to be representing our client who are a global FTSE 100 group of companies and operate in 29 countries across 4 continents. They supply essential products and services across a number of different sectors including hospitality, healthcare and safety.

They have recently relocating to a brand new 22,000m2 site in Western Sydney and are looking to the fill the key position of Warehouse Manager to oversee the high volume, pick and pack distribution centre.
 
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will be accountable for all operational requirements and drive continuous improvement to deliver high customer service levels and to achieve budgeted outcomes. This person will also ensure all warehouse staff are aware of and are adhering to all safety procedures and processes.
 
Other key responsibilities will include –

• Meeting all internal and external customer service levels
• Receiving accuracy
• Picking accuracy and rate 
• Team performance (i.e. safety, absenteeism, productivity, KPIs and errors).
• Daily review of control reports
• Warehouse housekeeping
• Controlling labour costs including overtime and temporary labour
• Freight management
• Team communications including tool box meetings
• Inventory control and stock integrity
• Support, foster and develop culture in line with the company’s values
